Secondo IMDB Robert sarà uno dei presentatori degli Academy Awards 2011,ma per ora niente è stato confermato.

Sebbene le riprese siano finite da poco, pare che la performance del nostro Robert Pattinson in "Water For Elephants" abbia colpito l'attenzione di un signor premio Oscar,nonchè sua co-star, Christoph Waltz. Ecco quanto riportato da Entertainmentwise.com : "Il co-protagonista di mr Pattinson, Christoph Waltz, premio Oscar come miglior attore non protagonista per "Bastardi Senza Gloria", ha elogiato il suo giovane collega per la sua performance. Ai microfoni di Mtv, quando gli viene chiesto dove tiene la sua statuetta, risponde: "E' a mia casa, ma per come stanno andando le cose, potrei passarlo a Rob l'anno prossimo!"

Purtroppo, se le date previste rimangono tali, non vedremo "Waters For Elephants" prima di aprile'11, il che farà slittare anche la possibile nomination di Roberto, in quanto fuori tempo da Academy. Consoliamoci con il fatto che la storia uscita dalla penna di Sara Gruen, già di per se, è un gioiellino, se ci mettiamo anche una signora recitazione, e il volto di un certo Robert Pattinson, non rimarremo delusi. E se lo dice Hans Landa [ndr il personaggio di Waltz in BSG] ...

Entertainmentwise.com report : "Despite only finishing filming a few months ago, Robert Pattinson's performance in Water For Elephants could, according to his co-star, land him an Oscar nomination.

Rob's co-star,Christoph Waltz who won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Inglorious Basterds earlier this year, has heaped high praise on his young co-star.

According to MTV, when asked where he keeps the iconic statue, Christoph replied: “It's in my house, but the way things are looking, I might have to hand it off to Rob next year!”

We won't get to see Rob's performance until April next year and the 24-year-old will have to wait until the following year for possible recognition."

Vista l'età media dei presentatori di quest'anno, tali Steve Martin et Alec Baldwin, i produttori degli Academy Awards 2010 hanno ben pensato di "rinfrescare" lo show per attirare anche il pubblico adulto.


E quali personaggi se non i più amati del cinema degli ultimi anni possono essere arruolati per questo scopo ? Ebbene assoldati Taylor Lautner, Kristen Stewart (pivelli nlla storia degli Academy) insieme con Zac Efron e Miley Cyrus sono le prime conferme. Per quanto riguarda il nostro RPatz ( che l'anno scorso ricordiamo presento Best Romance ) non è ancora stata proferita parola. Staremo a vedere visto che comunque al 7 marzo 2010 c'è ancora tempo.

Se l' anno scorso era stato invitato Pattinson per presentare un lungometraggio sull' amore, quest' anno a presentare una delle categorie degli Oscar ci saranno proprio Kristen Stewart e Taylor Lautner.

Kristen ha detto ai microfoni di Eonline che sarà presente all' evento e che sta già cercando delle scarpe sulle quali non rischia di cadere. è molto contenta per l' opportunità perchè agli Accademy Awards sono sempre presenti molti attori importanti.
