Dopo il grandissimo successo che in meno di una settimana Thw twilight saga: Eclipse ha riportato a casa, al regista del 3 capitolo è sembrato opportuno ringraziare i fans, artefici di questo successo nelle sale.
Anche se il merito fa riconosciuto soprattutto al regista.

"Quando metti anima e corpo in un progetto così intenso come la durata della produzione di un film, ti perdi completamente nella sua realizzazione. Ti concentri giorno dopo giorno per fare del tuo meglio per realizzare questo progetto in maniera corretta d ci lavori per così tanto tempo che pensi quasi che ti appartenga.

Mentre giravo "The Twilight saga Eclipse", ho sempre saputo che questo film era diretto a tantissime persone e come risultato, sapevo che il film non apparteneva solo a me, alla produzione e allo studio, ma anche a tutti voi, fans della twilight saga.

Alla fine di ogni giorno, dopo tutto il duro lavoro fatto, quello che resta è il film stesso. E il supporto così appassionato mi hanno fatto realizzaare che forse abbiamo fatto qualcosa di buono. Come regista, quella con il pubblico è una connessione così rara e strana che io non scorderò mai e per questo volevo ringraziarvi tutti per questo."

David Slade interview about Eclipse

David Slade è stato intervistato da IGN riguardo Eclipse.
Dice cose molto interessanti riguardo la stesura del film e del plot principale.
Afferma che la difficoltà più grande è stata quella di rendere un pò più spaventoso Edward dato che alla fin fine è anche lui un vampiro, ha aggiunto che in uno film in cui la trama si basa non solo sull' amore ma anche sulla vendetta di Victoria è normale voler calcare la dose sull' azione.
Ha cercato di riportare i tumulti interiori dei Vampiri neonati, che si scoprono essere i vampiri più forti, ha spiegato come parlando con ogni attore riguardo tutta la gamma di emozioni che i loro personaggi dovevano provare ha scoperto che da un sentimento di pura ansia si passava facilmente alla rabbia e successivamente alla frenesia per la prima caccia, quindi in alcune scene si nota come gli attori hanno cercato di riportare in maniera eccellente questo circolo vizioso di sensazioni, che andando avanti con il film prendono una forma lievemente più controllata.
Per chi ha letto il libro sarà più facile notare ogni dettaglio che poi porterà alla battaglia finale, per chi invece andrà a vedere il film senza conoscere la storia del libro sarà un pò più difficile riunire tutti i pezzi ma avrà comunque la possibilità di godersi la battaglia.

David Slade ha scritto una lettera ai fans della saga.

Il regista, per festeggiare i 6 millioni di fans sulla pagina facebook, terminata la post produzione di Eclipse, ha deciso di ringraziare i fans per la passione che hanno dimostrato e l' appoggio al film.

Ha ricordato un avvenimento avvenuto a Vancouver mentre giravano la scena del ritrovo intorno al fuoco. Ricorda che nonostante la pioggia dopo una notte intera sotto al temporale, usciti dal set hanno visto alcuni fans bagnati dalla testa ai piedi con dei fiori e regali in mano per gli attori. Slade con questo aneddoto ha deciso di ringraziare tutti i fans per il supporto, dice che è stato un viaggio indimenticabile e che ha sentito molto la pressione per riportare su pellicola il terzo capitolo della saga il più fedelmente possibile.

Non vede l' ora che il film esca nelle sale e di sapere cosa ne pensano i fans.

Dear fans of The Twilight Saga,

I want to congratulate you for reaching over 6 million fans on The Twilight Saga Facebook page.

It's hard to fathom that it was just over one year ago that I started constructing this third and epic adventure which takes place in the town of Forks.

I want to share a story about one of our days of shooting with you.

It was a Friday night and the rain was relentless. We were at La Push to shoot the tribe's histories, a great speech by Billy Black. We had Taylor and Kristen and the whole wolf pack around a campfire as the heavens let loose on us.

Gil Birmingham was in fine form as the rain hammered down on us all, we adjusted our lights so that the rain vanished into the black of night.

We constructed a tent over the scene to keep everyone dry as we worked, every 15 minutes or so we would have to tip it to stop the collecting rain from splitting the fabric.

For some reason still unknown, around 3am, the wolf pack stood exactly in the way of several gallons of rainwater as it was being cleared. Being the wolf pack, they just laughed it off as they stood there soaked to the bone.

We worked through the mud and the rain all night, until we had the scene perfected.

As we left, dawn was now cracking and in the dim light I passed a small army of fans who had braved the weather for the entire night, still standing there, holding drenched flowers and waiting to get a glimpse of our actors.

So, to those of you who stood behind our security, who waited in line at theatres overnight, to those of you who just love these stories, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is a love letter to you.

Each day I felt the weight of your favourite scenes, your favourite lines, your dreams and your imagination.

It has been an unforgettable journey, and now as I finalise the last prints to ready the film for your local theaters, I cannot wait for you to see it.

E dopo questi 3 giorni di intenso lavoro per le riprese di Eclipse da rifare...Slade dice la sua riguardo i rumors andati avanti sul web ultimamente.

Uno di questi riguardava una discussione avvenuta sul set e delle discrepanze tra quella che doveva essere la reale scaletta di questi giorni.

A quanto pare tutto si è risolto in un nulla di fatto..effettivamente quelli erano solo rumors e a smentirli ci ha pensato Slade in persona.

Dicendo che è stato fantastico rientrare dopo 3 settimane di assenza dal web e vedere che qualcuno si era divertito a mandare in giro voci false..la reale notizia è stata che le riprese sono andate benissimo e che Robert Kristen e Taylor tutta la crew e lui stesso hanno dato il 110% per la buona riuscita delle riprese..e che tutto sembrava più una rimpatriata di famiglia.

Che dire manteniamo gli animi positivi per questo allora.

Giungono un pò di notizie succulente dal versante Twitter.

La Summit dall' account ufficiale ci informa che domani il trailer non uscirà solo da Oprah, come vi avevo già scritto in un post precedente, ma anche sui loro account ufficiali di My space, youtube e Facebook.Ovviamente verrà pubblicato alle 20/17 di pomeriggio orario Americano...da noi se ho fatto bene i calcoli dovrebbero essere le 2 di notte.

Slade invece con un tweet ed una foto dell' orchestra britannica,ci informa che la Score di Eclipse è pronta, che dire ormai manca poco all' uscita del film.

The Twilight Saga - Eclipse, maybe unfinished

Sappiamo tutti che il 30.06.2010 ci aspetta la "bestia", come aveva twittato Slade qualche giorno fa. E se vi dicessimo che "The Twilight Saga - Eclipse" è ritardo ??
Per ora è ,e deve rimanere un rumor, ma secondo quanto riporta Lainey Gossip "il film non è ancora pronto".

"Più fonti hanno confermato che alcune scene chiave dovranno essere rigirate, comprese le scene di Bella e Edward nell radura e di qualche sequenza di lotta. Hanno temporeggiato così tanto per confermare le date (ndr delle riprese ) , ma hanno dovuto adeguarsi agli impegni di Robert Pattinson. Originariamente erano stati pianificati 7 giorni, ma ora, a causa di ulteriori impegni, è ne sono previsti 3, con l'intero cast per 18 ore giornaliere. Tutto questo dovrebbe svolgersi a Vancouver, tra poche settimane.

Ma la cosa ancora più interessante è CHI potrebbe dirigere questi "extra". Sappiamo tutti che il regista di Eclipse è David Slade, ma sembrerebbe che tra mr. Slade e Summit non ci sia molto feeling, per differenze creative. E la questione era talmente degenerate che che addirittura si pensa all'assunzione di qualcun altro dietro la cinepresa. Alcuni dei nomi che si vociferamno? Chris Weitz e Catherine Hardwicke. La Hardwicke è attualmente a Vancouver e sta lavorando ad un altro nuovo film che dovrebbe uscire in estate, ma pare che stiano cercando di ritardare tale progetto e che la Cat è stata avvistata sotto copertura mentre dava un'occhiata in studio e alle location per rigirare le scene di Eclipse.

Detto questo, però sembrerebbe che Slade e la Summit sono in rapporti migliori. E c'è ancora una buona possibilità che potesse tornare a Vancouver per completare il suo film. Nessuna decisione definitiva è stata presa, vi terremo informati."

La notizia mi ha lasciata a dir poco sconcertata, e non fa che accrescere l'odio che provo verso la Summit e le sue manie di grandezza ( che a mio avviso non può neanche permettersi ) comunque staremo a vedere. Rimanete sintonizzati.

Il fidato Gossip cop ci conferma che il regista per le reshoot di Eclipse sarà David Slade al 100%, questo perchè sembra che la Summit sia molto soddisfatta dei risultati del film.I giorni di registrazione saranno due e mezzo, perchè effettivamente quello che è da rigirare è veramente poco. La smentita più grande sta nel fatto che le scene da rigirare non sono quelle che riguardano la lotta e la radura ma altre scene.

Possiamo tutti tirare un sospiro di solievo quindi.E cosa più importante nessuna data rimandata, il 30 giugno restate pronti ad andare al cinema.

But what if we told you that "The Twilight Saga - Eclipse" is unfinished?

For now, and must like, it's a rumor, but according to reports Lainey Gossip : "the film isn’t ready yet. Multiple sources have confirmed to me that some key scenes need to be reshot including footage between “Bella” and “Edward” in the meadow and a few fight sequences. They’ve been waiting for weeks to confirm dates but have had to work around Robert Pattinson’s schedule. Originally they needed 7 days but now, due to his other commitments, it’s been proposed that they work for 3 days with the crew putting in 18 hours each day. This should happen in Vancouver in the new few weeks. What’s more interesting is WHO would actually direct the reshoot. David Slade is the director for Eclipse. But I’m told that apparently David Slade’s relationship with Summit has been... not great. Creative differences. At one point things had supposedly deteriorated to the point that they were actually considering hiring someone else to reshoot in Vancouver. Some of the names tossed around? Chris Weitz and Catherine Hardwicke. Hardwicke is in Vancouver working on another new film to go in the summer. They’re looking at delaying that project and Hardwicke has been spotted undercover checking out studio and location space for the Eclipse reshoot. Having said that, Slade and Summit are now communicating on better terms. And there is still a good possibility he could come back to Vancouver to complete his film. As of Monday, no final decision about a director had been made. Will keep you posted."

Contrary to today’s inaccurate speculation, “creative differences” have not led Summit to consider bringing in another director for the reshoots.

David Slade is 100% directing them, like he did the entire movie, and the studio is “very happy” with his direction of the film, which internally is believed to be the best of the series.

As for the timing, speculation that there will be three rushed days of 18-hour shoots is incorrect. The Summit rep tells Gossip Cop that it’s a two-and-a-half to three-day shoot, and that “very little” actually has to be reshot.

But the biggest misconception concerned the specific scenes alleged to be those in need of a reshoot. The rep confirms to Gossip Cop, “None of the meadow or action scenes are being reshot.”
So we can breath finally. And even mor important no later release data..so get ready for the 30th of June.

Il caro regista David Slade ha twittato in merito alla post-produzione della "bestia" , nickname molto originale per Eclipse :

"E’ da un pezzo che non twittavo più: sono indaffaratissimo per finire la bestia. Vedo la luce alla fine del tunnel."

E giungono notizie anche dal fronte "Breaking Dawn", direttamene dalla pagina facebook di Melissa Rosemberg ( grazie Mary per la soffiata :P ), la quale tutta allegra e spensierata dice :

"Grazie per tutti i vostri messaggi! Per come la vedo io: più o meno sangue, più o meno violenza, sesso o un parto "difficile", non è questo che definisce Breaking Dawn. Eccovi due tweet freschi freschi da David Slade. Per prima cosa informa che il post produzione del film sta progredendo benissimo e che sono molto fiduciosi. Inoltre ci fa sapere che il trailer di Eclipse non è più tra le sue mani e che non dipende da lui se ancora non è stato mostrato. E che tutto dipende dalla Summit.Lui non sa quando verrà rilasciato ovviamente.
