Il regista britannico Mike Le Han e il produddore Black Lake hanno scelto il trio protagonista del teen fantasy "Peppercorn Chronicles" Jodelle Farland, Noah Ringer e Michael Eklund.

La storia si basa sul corto di 24 min. vincitore dell' HollyShort Film Festival di LA nel 2011 dal titolo "Mrs Peppercorn's Magical Reading Room"
