Kristen Stewart nei panni di Biancaneve? Perché no.
La star della serie di Twilight si è evoluta moltissimo dai tempi del suo debutto con il grande pubblico in Panic Room.
Come la maggior parte degli attori bambini cresciuti sotto i riflettori, Kristen è cambiata moltissimo; e anche se continua a sembrare più a suo agio in jeans e felpone, pare avere anche sviluppato una passione per gli abiti cortissimi, che mettono in evidenza le gambe.
La sua è solo una delle due Biancaneve attualmente in lavorazione (l’altra è Lily Collins, figlia di Phil), ed entrambe le versioni della favola sembrano essersi disfatte della tradizionale storia della damigella in periglio, optando invece per una riscrittura femminista che vede la principessa esiliata combattere per riprendersi il trono.
Va detto che, essendo girato da Tarsem, il Biancaneve con Lily Collins promette di essere più stilizzato e surreale della sua concorrenza, intitolata Snow White and the Huntsmen (i cacciatori).
Kristen Stewart può sembrare una scelta strana per interpretare il ruolo di una principessa guerriera, specialmente dopo più di tre anni in cui è stata quasi solo l’inutile musona Bella Swan, oltre che la scontrosa musona Emily in Adventureland e… be’, sì, Joan Jett in The Runaways, che era tutto meno che inutile o musona.
C’è però qualcosa di lei che la rende perfetta per la parte: forse proprio l’antipatia che sembra riservare agli aspetti più frivoli del suo lavoro, dalle comparsate sul red carpet (dove si capisce come musona non sia proprio un ruolo difficile, per lei) al dover gestire la stampa e i pettegolezzi riguardanti la natura del suo rapporto con il collega Robert Pattinson.
La sua Biancaneve guerriera si unisce alle schiere di altre principesse armate, da Fiona di Shrek a Merida, protagonista del film Disney di prossima uscita intitolato Brave.
Speriamo che l’adattamento inietti nella vecchia fiaba un po’ di spirito: chi è che aspetta un principe, quando ha un trono da reclamare?

Kristen Stewart as Snow White? Why not
The Twilight star is grown up very much from her debut on the big screen in Panic Room.
As the most young baby actorgrown up under the spotlight, Kristen is changed very much; even if she seems more comfortable in bluejeans and sweathshirt, it seems she has a passion for short dresses that exibit her legs.
Actually there are two version of Snow White,one with Kristen and one with Lily Collins, and both seems very different from the traditional story of the damsel in danger and more like a feminist adaptation where the pexileted princess fight to bring her kingdom back.
We have to say that the Tarsem's adaptation, with Lily Collins, probably will be more stilyzed and surreal instead of Snow White And The Huntsman (with Kristen Stwart).
Kristen may seems a starnge choice for this role, especially after 3 years where she has benn the "vain morose" Bella Swan, the "stiffed morose" Emily in Adventureland and..Joan Jett in The Runaways (not at all stiff, vain or morose).
But she has something that make her perfect for this role: maybe her dislake for the butterflies aspect of her work, from red carpet (where she seems morose for the most of the time) to the press or the gossip on her relationship with Robert Pattinson.
Her Snow White as warrior will be one of the other armed princess like Fiona (in Shrek) or Merida (next Disney project, Brave)
We all hope that this adaptation give a refesh to the storytell: who wait the prince when you have to fight for your kingdom?
