Kristen Stewart Interview on Playing Joan Jett

Il daily mail ha pubblicato un intervista a Kristen riguardo il suo nuovo ruolo nel film The Runaways.

Vi riportiamo i punti salienti dell' intervista.

Kristen afferma che "è una grande responsabilità quella di interpretare un personaggio reale. La sua storia è importante. è veramente un importante storia che narra del trionfo del femminismo. Joan Jett è la prima donna che ha diretto una casa discografica. Alcune persone la conoscono solo perchè è stata una delle persone più fiche che siano mai esistite. Ed è proprio questa una delle cose che mi ha intimidito di più e che ho dovuto affrontare, ma alla fine lei è veramente una persona fichissima."

Ma a quanto pare anche Kristen ha riscosso un certo successo agli occhi di Joan che ha detto di lei:

"Ha una bellissima voce e sa anche suonare la chitarra. Ha la giusta passione, con la quale è in grado di toccare le corde emotive giuste"

New Moon heroine Kristen Stewart, who will play Joan Jett in the upcoming biopic called The Runaways, remarked on the respect she has for Joan Jett.

"It’s one of the most immense responsibilities to play a real person. Her story’s important. It’s an incredibly triumphant feminist story really.She’s the first woman to ever start her own record label. So many people know her as just being like one of the coolest people to ever live. That in itself is one of the most intimidating things that I’ve ever had to confront but she’s so cool too."

It seems the respect is mutual, as Joan Jett remarked on Kristen Stewart playing her:

"She sounded great and played well (on the guitar). She has the passion for it, which you can’t really be taught."
