Mentre "The Runaways", secondo indieWIRE, trova una distribuzione con Apparition (per quanto riguardano gli USA) , ci sono news ( non molto positive ) riguardo un altro presunto film in cantiere per un'altra coppia pescata dalla cast di Twilight : stiamo parlando di "K-11" che prevede la co-partecipazione di Kristen con l'amica Nikki Reed, e dirette proprio da Jules Mann-Stewart ( ebbene si dalla mammina della cara "Bella" ).Il film d’azione è ambientato in una prigione di Los Angeles all’interno di una sezione chiamata “K-11″. Questa parte del carcere è riservata solo agli omosessuali, ai transessuali ed ai malati di HIV. Butterfly, interpretata da Kristen, è una ragazza rinchiusa proprio in questa sezione, e vive come un transessuale.
Secondo quanto riporta Gossipcop : "Ora girano voci on-line riguardo "K-11", diretto dalla madre della Stewart, Jules Mann-Stewart, potrebbe essere rinviato o addirittura abbandonato. Rimandate le riprese dalla scorsa estate al successivo il gennaio 2010, i fan cominciarono a preoccuparsi che la produzione stia riscontrando grossi problemi.
Una fonte vicina alla Stewart afferma che il film è in fase di sviluppo ma che non vi saranno le riprese in gennaio, (...)perché diversi elementi devono ancora venire messi insieme, compreso il calendario degli impegni di Miss Stewart."

According to Gossipcop : "Now there are online rumors that “K-11,” directed by Stewart’s mother Jules Mann-Stewart and costarring “Twilight” mate Nikki Reed, might be postponed or lost in the mix. Spurred by initial reports that had filming scheduled for last summer and then for January 2010, fans began to worry that the production had encountered major problems.
A source close to Stewart tells Gossip Cop the film is in development but not shooting in January. It was described to us as happening but not imminent, because several elements still had to come together, including Stewart’s schedule."
