Questa volta a parlare è Alexandra Patsavas,responsabile della musica per twilight, che ha rivelato al new york times di essere molto fiduciosa sul possibile contributo di Thom Yorke, frontman dei RadioHead, insieme alla band Bon Iver alla soundtrack del film.

Come già sappiamo i Death Cab For Cutie hanno già reso pubblica la loro canzone Meet Me On The Equinox, scritta appositamente per il film. Altri rumors vorrebbero anche i The killers e Grizzly Bear presenti nella colonna sonora ma su questo la Patsavas non si esprime.

Nonostante questo afferma che: "i toni del film sono molto più sobri rispetto a quelli di Twilight, questo è un film che parla di amore perduto, quindi gli artisti che sono coinvolti nella soundtrack devono riflettere questo forte sentimento di perdita nelle loro canzoni, sono stati usati moltissimo strumenti acustici e performance a cappella."

More details of the New Moon soundtrack have emerged from the woman in charge of theTwilight music.

Alexandra Patsavas told the New York Times she was “confident” that Radiohead frontmanThom Yorke would contribute a track along with cult folk group Bon Iver.

Death Cab For Cutie have recorded the main single for New Moon called Meet Me At The Equinox.

There are also rumours that The Killers and Grizzly Bear will contribute songs for the film, though Patsavas would not comment.

She did however tell the newspaper about the mood of the album explaining: “This is a much more somber movie than Twilight."

“There is a lot of love lost, so the artists that are going to make up the soundtrack reflect that longing — a lot of acoustic instruments, a lot of a cappella singing."
