A quanto pare Chris Weitz in un intervista con HITFIX ha rivelato un pò di retroscena del film New Moon eccovi alcuni punti salienti:-Anche lui è rimasto sorpreso di vedere nel teaser trailer, fatto da Phill Tippet's company, la trasformazione di Jacob..tanto da dire che ovviamente quella era solo una prima bozza e che adesso la visualizzazione del lupo è molto più realistica.
-Alexander Despalt sta già lavorando alla colonna sonora..potrà includere riferimenti minimi al theme di Carter Burwell ma con suoni molto differenti.
-Un paio di nuove scene verranno mostrate al comicon di San Diego.
- Una parte del film all' interno del filmato "FACEPUNCH" veràà solo ascoltata ma non vista.
-L' esperienza di riprese in Italia con l' arrivo di fans da tutta Europa è stata un pò come un pellegrinaggio a Betlemme.
-La sua visione dei Volturi è molto più simile al libro rispetto a come alcuni fans con i loro lavori li hanno mostrati in immagini e clip.Li ha anche immaginati un pò folli a causa della loro vita ultramillenaria.
-Ha incontrato David Slade e si aspettava che la sua visione del film Eclipse fosse diversa da New Moon ma comunque Slade lavorerà con lo stesso team degli effetti speciali e gli stesi attori.
-è molto contento che i fans lo reclamino come regista anche per BD nonostante il film ancora non sia uscito..ma pensa anche che sicuramente vorranno Slade come regista non appena Eclipse uscirà nelle sale.
-Thome Yorke e i Kings of leon sarebbero interessati a lavorare per la colonna sonora (il mio pensiero....O MIO DIO SAREBBE STUPENDO)
- Weitz dovrà consegnare il film montato entro il 30 ottobre per poter permettere la stampa..se questo non dovesse accadere si troverebbero in grandi problemi per rispettare la data di uscita del film.
